COURSE UPDATE 2.12.26
Opening the golf course and practice facilities right now is a serious concern. Extremely dry conditions and fragile turf have created challenges that could cause long-term damage if we open too soon. While we understand the excitement to get back on the course, protecting the health and playability of our tees, greens and fairways must come first.
Our irrigation system is currently running daily to help restore moisture levels, but Mother Nature has not been cooperating. Every decision we make over the next few weeks is focused on preventing stress and lasting injury to turf areas that are especially vulnerable coming out of winter.
Our tentative goal is to open early March; however, that will depend entirely on conditions improving. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we approach a very delicate start to the season.
Thank you for your continued support.

Championship Course in the heart of platte River Valley
Meadowlark Hills was built in 1993 and is operated by the City of Kearney. The course is a Championship 18-Hole layout that plays to a par 71 for men and a par 72 for women. Our new practice areas including chipping greens and a bunkers were developed in 2022-23 by our talented staff. Be sure to come out and utilize them at no charge.
This beautiful course is laid out on the bluffs of the Platte River valley. The majestic view from the clubhouse is spectacular. On the course, water challenges you on several holes and the numerous sand bunkers are strategically placed to keep your ball from venturing too far from your target.
